This is a test to see what I have messed up. Something is off, but not sure what. Hopefully I can figure it out. This is a test to see what I have messed up. Something is off, but not sure what. View Master

View Master

I found this gem digging through the archives. Man, I loved my View Master as a kid. That orange hunk of plastic with all those pictures flipping around with the click of a lever. No Tik-Toks or Youtube. I love old ads with simple colors. I’m also a sucker for the vintage space ads.

Summer

Summer

I often find living in a rural southern town in Georgia to be quite inspiring. The people, the food, all of it. It’s a part of me just as much as the hair on my head. There is no doubt, I am a son of the south. Sometimes, that inspiration leads me to make little things like this – simple bits of form and color taken from my daily adventures around here.

Fields

Fields

I was driving home from the office one evening as the sun was going down. The light was so beautiful and I enjoyed how precisely the rows were plowed. When you see them flipping by as you drive, it’s a neat effect. I try to capture those little moments when I can.

The Chicks: Gas Lighter

The Chicks: Gas Lighter

Holy hell this album is good – unbelievably good. I’m not a huge country fan, but I have always liked the Chicks as they are now called. Natalie is on fire and holds nothing back about her divorce – I mean NOTHING. It’s a great mix of songs. I’m on my 3rd listen.

Lazy Paisley

Lazy Paisley

Look at him. He’s rotten. Not a care in the world. He just lays there and watches while I work. He might get up to bark at the occasional bird, but not often. What a life.

Hello world!

I am leaving this here as a timestamp – a marker in time of the beginning. It only took me 26 years to get a personal site up.
